As an Internet marketer being able to get online is of paramount importance as it’s no good building an empire of websites and then not being able to reliably manage them.
People will spend hundreds of dollars on the latest piece of software to help them promote their online businesses but for some strange reason won’t spend a few extra dollars a month to get a decent Internet connection. A poor Internet connection can cost you a lot of extra time and effort that could be better spent in your business.
I have a business Internet connection with a service level agreement that entitles me to swift technical support and any outage is guaranteed to be less than 24 hours.
Also my Broadband Usage isn’t capped so I’m in no danger of going over any arbitrary monthly limit. My connection speed is fast, reliable and always on.
The difference between a cheap shared package and a dedicated business connection is usually only about $50 a month. It therefore makes no sense to try and save pennies and as a consequence lose dollars.
There are many other places where it is perfectly safe to make economies but in this day and age having a poor Internet connection could cost you dearly particularly these days when the Internet moves so quickly.
So get yourself a decent connection and if necessary move Internet service provider to one who was going to give you guaranteed speed and availability.
