1. Requires direct editing of PHP file to set Database / User / Password and other settings which is OK but requires some knowledge so the technically challenged may find it frustrating.
2. Requires the setting up of Cron jobs to automate the content refresh which can be confusing to the non technical
3. Building the content takes a long time the first time it’s run although it does now have a Drip function which speed things up,

Bottom Line

This is a nice little program that does exactly what it says it’ll do. It took me about an hour to set up my first site but I’m sure I could do it in less than 15 mins next time. If the installer did it all and there was no fiddling with the Setup.php file I’m sure installation could be trimmed to less than 10 mins. A guide to setting up Cron jobs on the most popular Web Hosts would have been useful although if you do a search there is no shortage of guides on-line that show you exactly what you need to do.

Getting your tier two and three links indexed by the search engines can be a real pain in the butt  because you’re dealing with sometimes large numbers in the hundreds and sometimes thousands. The methods currently being used work after a fashion but lets face it the search engines are becoming wise to them and they don’t work as well as they used to.

Is this technique a secret? Probably not and I’m sure lots of people are using it already but the point is the technique is not saturated yet and still works fantastically well in fact I’m supprised more people don’t use it.
